1 Scope
This standard specifies requirements of order contents, dimension, material, manufacturing , inspection, test and mark for forged fittings, socket-welding and threaded.
This standard is applicable to the forged fittings, socket-welding and threaded that made of metallic material with a nominal dimension not be larger than DN 100.
2 Normative Reference
The following normative documents contain provision which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this national standard. For dated reference, subsequent amendments to, or revisions of, any of these publications do not apply. But the parties to agreements based on this standard are encouraged to investigate the possibility of applying the latest editions of the standards indicated below. For undated references, the latest edition of the normative document referred to applies.

4 Classes of Pipe Fittings
The classes of socket welding pipe fittings are divided into classes related to 3000, 6000 and 9000; the classes of threaded pipe fittings are divided into 2000, 3000and 6000; see Table 2 for the classes of pipe wall thicknesses which adapt to it.
