4 Ordering contents
The contract or order placed under this document shall contain at least the following contents:
a) Product name and category;
b) Grade;
c) No. of this document;
d) Specification;
e) Delivery length;
f) Weight and quantity;
g) Other special requirements put forward by the buyer, e.g., special specification requirements, special surface quality requirements, etc.
5 Classification and code
5.1 H section steel is classified into two categories, with the following codes:
—H section steel ("H" represents general-purpose H section steel);
—HK section steel ("HK" represents extended H section steel).
5.2 T section steel code is "T section steel" ("T" means cut T section steel).
6 Dimension, shape, weight and permissible deviation
6.1 Dimension and representation method
6.1.1 The sectional views of the H and T section steel are shown in Figures 1 and 2.
Key:
H—height;
B—breadth;
t1—web thickness;
t2—flange thickness;
r—fillet radius;
X-X—transverse axis of center of gravity;
Y-Y—longitudinal axis of center of gravity.

6.1.2 The sectional dimensions of H and T section steel shall meet the requirements of Annex A, Annex B and Annex C, respectively, where the fillet radius (r), outer surface area and moment of inertia (Ix, Iy), radius of inertia (ix, iy) and section modulus (Wx, Wy) are the reference values in Annex A, Annex B and Annex C. According to the requirements of the buyer, products with other parameter requirements may also be supplied by agreement between the seller and the buyer. Calculation reference equations for sectional area, theoretical weight and sectional features of H section steel are shown in Annex D.
6.1.3 The delivery length of H and T section steel shall be indicated in the contract. Usually, the specified length is 12,000 mm. Products of other specified length may also be supplied according to the requirements of the buyer.
6.2 Dimension, shape and permissible deviation
6.2.1 The dimension, shape and permissible deviation of H section steel shall be as specified in Table 1. The permissible height deviation of T section steel shall be as specified in Table 2, and the permissible deviation of other parts shall be according to the parts of corresponding H section steel specifications.
6.2.2 According to the requirements of the buyer, the dimension, shape and permissible deviation of H and T section steel may also be as specified in the agreement between the seller and the buyer.
6.2.3 H and T section steel shall not have obvious torsion.
