1. General Provisions
1.0.1 This Code is designed with purposes of guaranteeing quality of electric equipment construction and installation in explosion and fire hazard environments, promoting development of construction and installation technology as well as protecting safe equipment operation.
1.0.2 This Code is applicable to construction and acceptance of electric equipments installation engineering in hazard environments of explosive mixture of gas, steam, ash and fiber and fire hazard materials that appear or may appear during production, process, disposal, re-transportation or storage. This Code is not applicable to the following environments:
1.0.2.1 Under mineral well
1.0.2.2 Environment producing, using or restoring explosives such as powder, detonator and bursters.
1.0.2.3 Electric equipment area where power is used in production and electrolyzing or electroplating equipments that are directly related to production process.
1.0.2.4 Environment where strong oxidizer is used or where material can be on fire without using exterior lighter.
1.0.2.5 Accumulator room
1.0.2.6 Air, land and water transportation vehicles and oil and gas well platforms on the sea.
1.0.3 Installation construction of electric equipments in explosion and fire hazard environments shall comply with approved plan.
1.0.4 Transportation and storage of equipment and instrument shall comply with relevant state provisions; if there are special requirements on product, applicable product requirements shall also be complied with.
1.0.5 Equipments and devices adopted shall comply with provisions of applicable national standards and shall have qualification certificates. Equipments shall have
