1 General Provisions
1.0.1 This code is formulated with view to strengthening quality management of engineering construction of 110kV~750kV overhead transmission line, standardizing quality control and acceptance condition of construction process and ensuring engineering quality.
1.0.2 This code is applicable to construction and acceptance of new construction, extension and renovation of AC overhead transmission line with voltage grade of 110kV~750kV.
1.0.3 Construction of overhead transmission line engineering shall be carried out according to the design document approved and subjected to joint review; in case it is necessary to change the design, it shall be confirmed by the original design organization.
1.0.4 Prior to construction of overhead transmission line engineering, there shall be such technical documents as examined and approved construction organization design document and matched construction scheme.
1.0.5 New technology, new process, new procedure, new equipment and new material shall be subjected to test, testing and verification at test point and can only be used after they are judged as meeting the requirements of this code.
1.0.6 Instrument, apparatus and measuring tools used for overhead transmission line engineering measurement and inspection shall be verified, qualified and within validity period of verification.
1.0.7 Construction and acceptance of 110kV~750kV overhead transmission line shall comply with those specified in this code and the current relevant ones of the nation.
2 Terms

earthing unit with certain shape which is prefabricated by low resistant materials
3 Test of Raw Materials and Equipment
3.0.1 Raw materials and equipment used in the project shall meet the following requirements:
1 Possess end-of-manufacturing quality inspection certificate for this batch of products;
2 Possess various quality inspection data complying with current standards of the nation;
3 As for raw materials like sand, stone etc. without quality inspection data, they shall be sampled and inspected by organization with inspection qualification and may only be used after being regarded as acceptable;
4 In case of suspicious inspection results of product, they shall be sampled and inspected again by organization with inspection qualification and may only be used after being regarded as acceptable;
3.0.2 If new raw materials and equipment are adopted, they shall pass the test and technical appraisal carried out by specialized departments and may only be used after being certified to meet the design quality requirements and relevant standards.
3.0.3 As for raw materials and equipment, in any of the following cases, they shall be re-inspected, and whether they are to be used or used by degradation shall be determined according to inspection results:
1 Retention period is exceeded;
2 Possibly deteriorate due to faulty storage;
3 Sample is taken not according to those specified in the standard or the specimen is not representative.
3.0.4 Crushed stone and pebble used in the project shall meet the requirements of the current national standard GB/T 14685 Pebble and Crushed Stone for Construction. Crushed stone and pebble used for precast concrete member, cast-in-site concrete foundation and protection facilities shall also meet the relevant requirements of the current professional standard JGJ 52 Standard for Technical Requirements and Test Method of Sand and Crushed Stone (or Gravel) for Ordinary Concrete.
