1 Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, quality certificate, quality assurance, etc. of LZ50 steel axle and steel billet for rolling stock.
This standard is applicable to the manufacture, order and inspection of LZ50 steel axle and steel billet for rolling stock.

3 Qualification As Manufacturer
The factory producing LZ50 steel axle and steel billet shall pass the certification of GB/T 19002 (ISO 9002) or AAR M-1003 system and establish and improve the quality assurance system of axle production process.
The certification of qualification as a manufacturer of LZ50 steel axle and steel billet shall be organized by MOR’s competent business department which represents users. Experts entrusted by MOR’s competent business department will regularly or irregularly carry out quality inspection on the LZ50 steel axle and steel billet produced by the factory with production qualification, and will regularly carry out reinspection on the production qualification of such factory.
