SN/T 1688.5-2012 Rules for the inspection of power-driven vehicles for import and export - Part 5: Electric motorcycles and electric mopeds
1 Scope
This part of SN/T 1688 specifies the sampling, inspection, and result determination of electric motorcycles and electric mopeds for import and export.
This part is applicable to the inspection of two- and three-wheeled electric motorcycles and electric mopeds (hereinafter referred to as electric motorcycles, unless otherwise specified) for import and export.
This part is not applicable to the inspection of off-road vehicles and racing vehicles.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 5359.1, GB/T 5359.4, GB/T 15367 and SN/T 0002 as well as the following apply.
3.1
mode of sampling inspection
qualification assessment activity of sampling, inspection and check of commodities for import and export lot by lot or in sampled lots in accordance with the mandatory requirements of national technical specifications
3.2
mode of type test
qualification assessment activity of carrying out type test according to the mandatory requirements of national technical specifications in the prescribed period, conducting sampled-lot inspection of products according to the on-site inspection regulations, and supervising the quality management system of enterprises
