GB/T 5382-2008 Performance and measurement method for braking force of motorcycles and mopeds
1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms, definitions, corresponding requirements, and test methods relating to the braking force of motorcycles and mopeds.
This standard is applicable to motorcycles and mopeds (excluding off-road vehicles and racing vehicles).

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 5359.5, GB/T 5359.6, and GB 20073-2006, as well as the following, apply.
3.1
braking force
frictional resistance generated by the brake that forces the wheel rotation speed to decrease or causes it to lock up completely
3.2
axle load
load borne by the front and rear axles of a vehicle under its complete vehicle kerb mass plus the weight of one driver
4 Requirements
4.1 The braking force of the front and rear axles of motorcycles and mopeds shall not be less than the limits listed in Table 1.
