Steel plate, sheet and strip for pressure equipment - Part 6: Quenched and tempered high strength steel
1 Scope
This document specifies the designation expression methods, order contents, dimensions, appearance, weight, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking and quality certificate of quenched and tempered high strength steel plate for pressure equipment.
This document is applicable to quenched and tempered high strength steel plate for pressure equipment (hereinafter referred to as the plate) with a thickness of 10 mm ~ 80 mm.

4 Designation expression
Steel designation is composed of the initial Pinyin “Q” of the yield strength “Qu”, the value of specified minimum yield strength, and the initial Pinyin “R” of the pressure vessel “Rong” or the initial Pinyin “DR” of the low temperature pressure vessel “Di Rong”, and the temperature level "L".
