1 Scope
This document specifies the technical requirements of on-board satellite positioning system, and describes the corresponding test methods.
This document is applicable to on-board satellite positioning system.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.

on-board satellite positioning system
system on board that uses radio signal transmitted by man-made earth satellite for positioning, velocity measurement and timing
3.2
positioning accuracy
statistical value of the difference between the position output by the on-board satellite positioning system and the real position
3.3
velocity accuracy
statistical value of the difference between the velocity output by the on-board satellite positioning system and the real velocity
3.4
timing accuracy
statistical value of the difference between the time output by the on-board satellite positioning system and the UTC
3.5
cold start time to first fix
time required for the on-board satellite positioning system from receiving satellite signal to the first normal positioning when the ephemeris, almanac, approximate time, and approximate position are unknown
3.6
hot start time to first fix
time required for the on-board satellite positioning system from wake-up to the first normal positioning when the ephemeris, almanac, approximate time, and approximate position are known
3.7
reacquisition time
time required for the on-board satellite positioning system from signal recovery to satellite signal recapture after the received satellite signal loses lock for a short time
3.8
acquisition sensitivity
minimum signal power level required for the on-board satellite positioning system to capture satellite signal and achieve normal positioning under cold start conditions
3.9
reacquisition sensitivity
minimum signal power level required for the on-board satellite positioning system to recapture the satellite signal and achieve normal positioning after the received satellite signal loses lock for a short time
3.10
tracking sensitivity
minimum signal power level required for keeping the tracking and positioning of satellite signal after the on-board satellite positioning system achieves normal positioning

BeiDou multi-mode
mode of on-board satellite positioning system not only supporting the BeiDou Navigation Satellite System, but also supporting one or more of the Global Positioning System, Galileo Navigation Satellite System and Global Navigation Satellite System to achieve positioning, velocity measurement and timing

BeiDou independence mode
mode of on-board satellite positioning system using only the BeiDou Navigation Satellite System to achieve positioning, velocity measurement and timing when the on-board satellite positioning system works in BeiDou multi-mode and other satellite navigation systems are not available

BeiDou priority mode
mode of on-board satellite positioning system giving priority to using the BeiDou Navigation Satellite System for positioning, velocity measurement and timing when the on-board satellite positioning system works in BeiDou multi-mode and the relevant information of multiple satellite navigation systems is different and the effectiveness cannot be judged

BeiDou single-mode
mode of on-board satellite positioning system using only BeiDou Navigation Satellite System for positioning, speed measurement and timing
