1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and designation, technical requirements, test and detection, marking and packaging of pressurized alkaline water electrolysis and pressurized proton exchange membrane (PEM) water electrolysis systems for hydrogen production.
This standard is applicable to pressurized alkaline water electrolysis and pressurized proton exchange membrane water electrolysis systems for hydrogen production with a working pressure of greater than or equal to 0.3MPa and less than or equal to 5.0MPa.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 19774 and GB/T 24499 and the following apply.

force vertically applied to unit surface area of a vessel, which refers to gauge pressure hereof, unless otherwise specified

pressurized water electrolysis system for hydrogen production
water electrolysis system for hydrogen production composed of water electrolyzer with specified pressure and its auxiliary equipment, pipeline and its accessories, enclosure, etc.
3.3
alkaline water electrolysis system for hydrogen production
water electrolysis system for hydrogen production composed of alkaline water electrolyzer and its auxiliary equipment, pipeline and its accessories, enclosure, etc.
3.4
proton exchange membrane (PEM) water electrolysis system for hydrogen production
water electrolysis system for hydrogen production composed of PEM water electrolyzer and its auxiliary equipment, pipeline and its accessories, enclosure, etc.
3.5
enclosure
equipment cabinet used to separate, protect and support the electrical system and process system in the hydrogen production system
3.6
purge
blowing off and clearing dust, particles and flammable liquids generated in the system using nitrogen or oil-free dry air during equipment processing
3.7
replacement
blowing off and clearing the air and flammable, explosive, toxic and harmful gases in all equipment and pipelines in the hydrogen production system by inert gases other than CO2, such as N2, and filling and sealing all equipment and pipelines by such gases
3.8
standard temperature and pressure
state of gas at temperature of 0℃ and absolute pressure of 101.325kPa
4 Classification and designation
4.1 Pressurized alkaline water electrolysis system for hydrogen production
The product designation for pressurized alkaline water electrolysis system for hydrogen production shall consist of capital Chinese phonetic alphabets and Arabic numerals. The product purity may be implemented according to relevant requirements of GB/T 19774.
The designation method shall meet the following requirements:
4.2 Pressurized PEM water electrolysis system for hydrogen production
The product designation for pressurized PEM water electrolysis system for hydrogen production shall consist of capital Chinese phonetic alphabets and Arabic numerals. The product purity may be implemented according to relevant requirements of GB/T 19774.
The designation method shall meet the following requirements:
5 Technical requirements
5.1 Pressurized water electrolysis system for hydrogen production
5.1.1 General requirements
See Annex A for typical system block diagrams of alkaline water electrolysis system for hydrogen production and PEM water electrolysis system for hydrogen production.
5.1.2 Working conditions
5.1.2.1 The working environment of hydrogen production system shall be clean and well ventilated, and should be at 5~45℃.
5.1.2.2 The environment of the site where the hydrogen production system is located has explosion risk, and the classification of explosive hazardous areas shall meet the requirements of GB 50177 and GB 50058, and the fortification level of electrical facilities shall be Level 1.
