Battery electric goods vehicles — Specifications
1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, and test methods of battery electric goods vehicles.
This standard applies to battery electric goods vehicles (hereinafter referred to as "the vehicles").

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 19596 as well as the following apply.
3.1
battery electric goods vehicle
trucks that use traction batteries as their sole source of energy
3.2
kerb mass
mass of all devices of the battery electric goods vehicle including traction battery, lubricating oil, coolant, tools, spare tire (if any), fire extinguisher, warning triangle
4 Requirements and test methods
4.1 General
The vehicles shall be manufactured according to the drawings and design documents approved through established procedure.
The vehicles shall meet the requirements of relevant national standards and documents.
4.2 Overall dimensions, axle loads and masses limitations
The overall dimensions, axle loads and masses limitations of the vehicles shall be consistent with the requirements of GB 1589.
4.3 Safety requirements of the complete vehicles
The vehicles shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 18384 and GB/T 31498, with the rest of the safety requirements complying with the provisions of GB 7258.
When the vehicle of Category N1 is started and the vehicle speed is lower than 20 km/h, it shall be able to send out appropriate prompting sounds to people outside the vehicle.
