1 Scope
This standard specifies the terminologies and definitions, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, transportation and storage of snow blower.
This standard is applicable to newly designed snow blower and snow-removing semi-trailer or those converted on the basis of complete vehicle and approved automobile chassis, which are used for urban road, expressway and airport pavement. This standard may be implemented by reference for snow blowers converted by using other chassis.

3 Terminologies and Definitions
For the purposes of this standard, the following terminologies and definitions apply.

Pushing snow
Operation pushing the snow on the pavement to roadsides.
3.2
Sweeping snow
Operation sweeping the snow on the pavement to roadsides.
3.3
Melting snow
Operation melting the snow on the pavement.
3.4
Throwing snow
Operation throwing the snow off the pavement.
3.5
Blowing snow
Operation blowing the snow off the pavement with high pressure draft.
3.6
Breaking ice
Operation breaking the ice layer on the pavement.
