This standard is developed in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces GB/T 23457-2009 Pre-applied and Wet Installed Waterproof Sheets. In addition to a number of editorial changes, the following technical changes have been made with respect to GB/T 23457-2009:
——The name and application scope of the standard are modified and wet installed waterproof sheets are deleted (see Chapter 1; Chapter 1 of 2009 edition);
——Terms and definitions are added (see Chapter 3);
——Standard classification is modified, rubber waterproofing sheet (R) is added and purpose is deleted (see Chapter 4; Chapter 3 of 2009 edition);
——Cement flour contaminated surface in peeling strength with post-cast concrete is deleted; items including tensile strength, elastic recovery, puncture resistance, watertightness, peeling strength between sheets (overlapping edge) and peeling strength test item at the antisticking treated position of sheet are added; technology index for Type R product is added; technology indexes for tension (Type P), shock resistance, heat resistance, foldability at low temperature and flexibility at low temperature, oil leakage, anti water moving between layer, peeling strength with post-cast concrete and peeling strength with post-cast concrete after immersed in water are modified (see Chapter 5; Chapter 4 of 2009 edition);
——Test methods for tensile strength, elastic recovery, puncture resistance, watertightness, peeling strength between sheets (overlapping edge) and peeling strength at antisticking treated position of sheet are added; test methods for shock resistance, oil leakage, anti water moving between layer, peeling strength with post-cast concrete, peeling strength with post-cast concrete after immersed in water, thermal ageing and dimensional change rate are modified (see Chapter 6; Chapter 5 of 2009 edition);
——End-of-manufacturing inspection items are modified (see 7.1.1; 6.1.1 of 2009 edition).
This standard was proposed by the China Building Materials Federation.
This standard is under the jurisdiction of the National Technical Committee on Constructional Materials and Decorative Materials of Standardization Administration of China (SAC/TC 195).
The previous edition of the standard superseded by this standard is as follows:
——GB/T 23457-2009.
Pre-applied Waterproofing Sheets
1 Scope
This standard specifies classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules as well as marking, packaging, storage and transportation of pre-applied waterproofing sheet.
This standard is applicable to the waterproofing sheet mainly made of plastic, bitumen and rubber, bonded with post-cast concrete and provided with self-adhesive glue on one side and non-stick or visbreaking material treated glue surface.

3 Terms and Definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1
pre-applied waterproofing sheet
waterproofing sheet composed of main material, self-adhesive glue, surface anti-sticking (visbreaking) protective layer (excluding sheet overlapping area) and isolation material (if required), which is bonded with post-cast concrete for the purpose of preventing water moving between layer
3.2
anti water moving between layer
the performance of preventing water fleeing on bonding interface under hydraulic action, which is realized via the perfect bonding of waterproof layer and base course
4 Classification
4.1 Type
According to main material, products are classified in plastic waterproofing sheet (Type P), bitumen base PY waterproofing sheet (Type PY) and rubber waterproofing sheet (Type R).
4.2 Specification
Thickness of pre-applied waterproofing sheet product:
Type P: full thickness of sheet is 1.2mm, 1.5mm or 1.7mm.
Type PY: 4.0mm.
Type R: full thickness of sheet is 1.5mm or 2.0mm.
Other specifications are determined through negotiation between the Supplier and the Demander.
4.3 Designation
Products are denoted in the order of No. of this standard, type, thickness/full thickness of main material and area.
Example 1: Plastic pre-applied waterproofing sheet of 50m2 in area, 1.2mm in full thickness and 0.9mm in main material thickness is denoted as:
