1 General Provisions
1.0.1 This code is formulated with view to implementing the relevant national laws, regulations guidelines and policies, unifying the principle and technical requirements for the general layout design of industrial enterprises and achieving technical advancement, safe production, resources reservation, environmental protection and reasonable arrangement.
1.0.2 This code is applicable to the general layout design of newly-built, reconstructed and expanded industrial enterprises.
1.0.3 The general layout design of industrial enterprises must implement the fundamental national policies of cherishing and rationally utilizing land and practically protecting farmland, adjust measures to local conditions, achieve reasonable arrangement, economically and intensively use the land to improve the land use capacity.
1.0.4 The general layout design of reconstructed and expanded industrial enterprises must rationally utilize and reform the existing facilities and reduce the influence on production by the construction of reconstructed and expanded engineering.
1.0.5 Besides the provisions of this code, the general layout design of industrial enterprises shall comply with the provisions of the related current national standards.
