1 Application Scope
This standard specifies the emission limits, monitoring and supervising requirements for air pollutants in steelmaking industry or production facilities and the requirements for implementation and supervision of the standards.
This standard is applicable to air pollutant emission management for steelmaking industry or production facilities, as well as the environmental impact assessment for the construction projects in steelmaking industry, environment protection facility design, completion environmental protection acceptance and air pollutant emission management after being put into operation.
This standard is only applicable to legal pollutants emission; the site selection of new pollution sources and the management of existing pollution source within special protected zone are in accordance with "Law of the People's Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Atmospheric Pollution", "Law of the People's Republic of China on Prevention and Control of Water Pollution", "Law of the People's Republic of China on Marine Environment Protection", Law of the People's Republic of China on Prevention of Environmental Pollution Caused by Solid Waste, "Law of the People's Republic of China on Prevention and Control of Radioactive Pollution", "Law of the People's Republic of China on Environmental Impact Assessment".
