GB 28007-2024 Technical specifications for the safety of infants' and children's furniture
1 Scope
This document specifies the general safety requirements and product-specific safety requirements for furniture used by infants and children aged 0 to 14 years old.
This document is applicable to the design, manufacture, sales and service, quality and safety inspection, and evaluation of furniture for infants and children.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 28202-2020 and the following apply.

Note: It mainly includes furniture used for study (tables, chairs, stools) and furniture used in children's bedrooms (beds, wardrobes, furniture for storage, etc.).

infants' dining chair
chair designed for infants aged between 6 months and 36 months who have the ability to sit alone, which can be placed independently to allow infants to reach the height of the dining table for eating
Note: In ISO 9221-1: 2015, the dining chair for infants aged between 6 months to 36 months is designated as children's high chairs.

table product with a total height exceeding 1,000 mm and equipped with a bookshelf or similar structures

bunk bed
high bed
household and non-household bed products with one or more bed bases (3.4.1) in the height direction, and with a height of the upper surface above the ground of not less than 600 mm, a width of not more than 1,200 mm, and a length of not less than 1,400 mm

Note 1: Children's cots (3.1.6) used to transport infants or children are excluded.
Note 2: In some countries, folding cots (3.1.7) are also referred to as travel cots.

furniture with a length of the bed base (3.4.1) of not more than 900 mm and used for infants who cannot sit up, kneel up, or be pulled/lifted by hand to sleep, including the cradle (3.1.9), suspended crib (3.1.10), and bedside sleeper (3.1.11)

crib (3.1.8) with a bed base (3.4.1) that is suspended without straps or similar structures and can rock, swing, or move up and down
