Apparels include underwear, outerwear, pajamas, jumpsuits, bellyband, trousers, etc.; while non-apparels include socks, foot covers, hats, gloves, bibs, aprons, scarves, blankets, coats, sleeping bags, bedclothes, etc.
Note: Knitted garments that are generally suitable for infants with height of 100 cm or below can be used as knitted garments for infants.
4 Sizing and specification
4.1 Apparels shall be implemented in accordance with GB/T 6411 or GB/T 1335.3, and the sizing beyond the standard range may be increased or decreased in sequence according to the grading values and principles specified in the standard.
4.2 Non-apparels shall be marked with specifications of main parts, or reference to relevant product standards or designed by the enterprise.
5 Requirements
5.1 Specific requirements
5.1.1 The requirements involve inherent quality and appearance quality. The inherent quality includes indexes for fiber content, formaldehyde content, pH value, peculiar smell, decomposable carcinogenic aromatic amine dyes, heavy metal, phthalic acid esters, combustion performance, filler, accessories, extractable heavy metal content, dimensional change rate in water washing, pilling, tensile strength of the garment belt, colour fastness to saliva, colour fastness to water, colour fastness to perspiration, colour fastness to soaping, colour fastness to rubbing, colour fastness to transfer in joints, appearance after washing, water-vapour permeability rate, residual metal needles, and anti-pile properties of down garments. The appearance quality includes surface defect, specification and dimension deviation, dimensional difference at symmetric parts, raw materials and sewing requirements.
5.1.2 For items not mentioned but required by national mandatory standards, the national mandatory standards shall prevail.
5.2 Grade classification requirements
5.2.1 The products are classified into superior products, first-grade products and acceptable products in terms of the quality grade.
5.2.2 The products are graded by batches in terms of inherent quality and by pieces in terms of appearance quality, and shall take the lowest grade in case of a combination of both.
5.2.3 For all inherent quality indexes, the lowest test result is regarded as the grading basis for this batch of products.
5.2.4 For the appearance quality with different grades presented by one product, the lowest grade is conducted; no more than two limit surface defects with the same grade are allowed to present on one product, otherwise, this product shall be degraded by one grade.
