YY/T 0176-2006 Surgical scissors — General specifications
1 Scope
This standard specifies the materials, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of surgical scissor products.
This standard is applicable to point contact cutting and overlapping gill surgical scissors.

3 Materials
Surgical scissors shall be made of 2Cr13, 2Cr13Mo, 4Cr13, 3Cr13Mo as specified in GB/T 1220, or other materials that meet the requirements of Clause 4.
4 Requirements
4.1 The screws of surgical scissors shall be firmly fixed on the left piece, and the screws shall not move when the surgical scissors are opened or closed.
4.2 The cutting edge of surgical scissors shall not have chipped edges, and there shall be no biting or jamming when the surgical scissors are opened or closed.
