1 Scope
This document specifies the technical requirements, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage for battery electric hydraulic excavators, and describes the corresponding test methods.
This document is applicable to the manufacture and inspection of battery electric hydraulic excavators.

For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 6572, GB/T 25602, GB/T 36693, and GB/T 44254, as well as the following apply.

battery electric hydraulic excavator
electric hydraulic excavator whose operating energy is entirely provided by an on-board rechargeable electrical energy storage system
Note 1: These excavators include electric hydraulic excavators with replaceable on-board rechargeable electrical energy storage systems.
Note 2: These excavators are classified by travel mode into crawler electric hydraulic excavators and wheeled electric hydraulic excavators.
