1 Scope
This chapter of GB 4706.1-2005 is replaced with the following contents:
This standard is applicable to such disinfecting tableware cabinet with electric heating method, ozone method, ultraviolet radiation (only as auxiliary) as well as combination of above several disinfecting methods with rated voltage of single-phase instrument not exceeding 250V and rated voltage of other instruments not exceeding 480V for household and similar uses, taking electric energy as major energy resource (hereinafter referred to as "disinfecting cabinet").
Note: The independent ultraviolet radiation disinfecting method can not meet the disinfecting effect requirements mentioned in this standard and can not be applicable to the disinfecting of tableware with single method.
This standard is not applicable to the following disinfecting cabinets:
——Disinfecting cabinet disinfected only relying on ultraviolet radiation method;
——Other disinfecting cabinets not taking disinfecting of tableware as main purpose, such as towel disinfecting cabinet;
——Disinfecting cabinet used for medical treatment purpose.
