Industrial Oxygen
1 Scope
This document specifies the technical requirements for industrial oxygen, as well as requirements for batch formation, sampling, test sampling, test methods, inspection rules, marking, labeling, accompanying documents, packaging, filling, transportation, and storage. It describes the relevant test methods and provides safety information for industrial oxygen.
This document applies to gaseous and liquid industrial oxygen produced by separation from air and by water electrolysis.

3 Terms and definitions
No terms and definitions are stipulated in this document.
4 Technical requirements
4.1 The technical requirements for industrial oxygen shall comply with the provisions of Table 1.
4.2 Moisture content shall not be determined for liquid oxygen.
4.3 For industrial oxygen in storage tanks, the methane and acetylene content shall be inspected at least once per month. The methane content shall not be greater than 50×10⁻⁶ (mole fraction), and the acetylene content shall not be greater than 0.1×10⁻⁶ (mole fraction).

5 Batch formation, sampling and test sampling
5.1 Batch formation
Industrial oxygen products filled into cylinders from a single production line under stable and continuous operation constitute one batch. For industrial oxygen filled into cylinder bundles, low-temperature liquid tankers, tube trailers, tube container modules, large seamless steel gas cylinders, or welded insulated gas cylinders, each individual package constitutes one batch.
5.2 Sampling
Shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 43306.
5.3 Test sampling
5.3.1 For cylinder-filled industrial oxygen, samples shall be taken randomly for inspection according to the sampling quantities specified in Table 2.
Table 2 Sampling inspection table for cylinder-filled industrial oxygen
5.3.2 For industrial oxygen filled into cylinder bundles, low-temperature liquid tankers, tube trailers, tube container modules, large seamless steel gas cylinders, or welded insulated gas cylinders, each package shall be inspected individually.
5.3.3 For industrial oxygen delivered via pipeline, sampling and inspection shall be conducted once every 4 hours, or the sampling frequency shall be agreed upon between the supplier and the purchaser.
6 Test methods
6.1 Determination of oxygen content
Shall be determined according to the method specified in GB/T 8982.
6.2 Determination of methane and acetylene content in oxygen
