1 Scope
This standard specifies the environment conditions, technical requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, RAMS requirements, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of asynchronous traction motors for AC-driven locomotives.
This standard is applicable to asynchronous traction motors for AC-driven locomotives (hereinafter referred to as “motors”) powered by voltage source inverters.
