Technical specification of flame retardant materials for railway locomotive and vehicle
1 Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements and test methods for flame retardant materials for railway locomotive and vehicle.
This standard is applicable to the railway locomotive and vehicles with a maximum operating speed of less than or equal to 200 km/h.

3 Technical requirements and test methods
3.1 General requirements
In the tests for flame retardant materials for railway locomotives and vehicles, specimens shall be sampled from finished products. If specimens cannot be taken from finished products, specimens shall be prepared according to actual application conditions.
3.2 Interior structural materials
3.2.1 Products with a horizontal plane facing down
Products with a horizontal plane facing down, mainly including top plate, side top plate and luggage rack shall meet the requirements in Table 1.
