TB/T 1495-2020 Type I fastening system
1 Scope
This standard specifies the composition, assembly performance, technical requirements for parts and components, inspection methods, inspection rules, marking and packaging, storage and transportation of Type I fastening system.
This standard is applicable to Type I fastening system for 50 kg/m rails on concrete sleepers of ballasted tracks on mixed passenger and freight railways with straight and curve radius not less than 295 m and those for various railway station tracks.

4 Composition of fastening system
A Type I fastening system consists of spring clip (except that Type B spring clips are used at No.14 joint gauge baffle, Type A spring clips are used), gauge baffle, baffle seat, underrail backing plate, nut, flat washer, screw spike, and optional underrail height adjustment backing plate. The assembly of the fastening system is shown in the figure.

5 Assembly performance
5.1 Longitudinal rail resistance
If tested according to TB/T 3396.1, the longitudinal rail resistance of each group of fastening system shall not be less than 11 kN.
5.2 Assembly fatigue performance
5.2.1 After 3 × 106 load cycles, no parts and components of the fastening system shall be damaged, and the gauge expansion shall not be greater than 6 mm; after the fatigue test, the change rate of static stiffness shall not be greater than 25% in the assembly of the fastening system.
