This document specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, storage and preservation of the automotive pressure sensor (hereinafter referred to as “sensor”).
This document is applicable to Type M and Type N automotive pressure sensors, including engine lubricating oil pressure sensor, engine inlet pressure sensor, brake system pressure sensor, air conditioning pressure sensor, low-pressure oil supply pressure sensor and urea pipeline pressure sensor. It also serves as a reference for other pressure sensors and other motor vehicle pressure sensors.

3 Terms and definitions
No terms and definitions are listed in this document.
4 Requirements
4.1 General requirements
The sensor shall meet the requirements of this document, and shall be manufactured in accordance with the drawings and design documents approved through established procedures.
4.2 Appearance
When inspected according to 5.2, the appearance shall be free of defects such as burrs, shrinkage marks, cracks, scratches and rust.
4.3 Error
After being tested according to 5.3, the sensor error shall be calculated using Equation (1), and the basic error shall meet those specified in Table 1. The basic error in Table 1 is the temperature error within T1 to T4. T1 shall meet the requirements of low operating temperature TMIN in Table 2, T4 shall meet the requirements of high operating temperature TMAX in Table 2, and T2 and T3 shall be determined by the supplier and the purchaser through negotiation.
(1)
Where,
K——the basic error;
V1——the measured value of sensor output voltage;
V0——the reference value of sensor output voltage;
YFS——the full-scale sensor output voltage;
FS——the full-scale voltage.
