1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of tooth strips.
This standard is applicable to tooth strips that clean and whiten teeth, as well as reduce tooth stains.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1
tooth strips
strips that clean, whiten and care for teeth by adhering to the surface of teeth and releasing the active ingredients contained therein
3.2
matrix layer
middle layer of the tooth strip, which contains active ingredients and is the main part of the tooth strip to play its role
3.3
backing layer
carrier for loading the matrix layer
3.4
protective layer
upper layer of the tooth strip, which protects the matrix layer from being polluted, and is usually made of release paper, plastic and other materials
