Polytetrafluoroethylene rod
1 Scope
This standard specifies the types & specifications, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of polytetrafluoroethylene rod (hereafter referred to as “rod”).
This standard is applicable to rods formed by molding, paste extrusion or plunger extrusion of unfilled polytetrafluoroethylene resin (including recycled polytetrafluoroethylene resin) which is used for making gaskets, seals and lubricating materials working in various corrosive media, and electrical insulation parts used at various frequencies.
