1 Scope
This Section of NB/T 47018 specifies the designation preparation, technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules of the titanium and titanium-alloy welding electrodes and rods.
This Section is applicable to titanium and titanium-alloy welding electrodes and rods used for the gas tungsten arc welding, gas metal arc welding and plasma arc welding of pressure equipment.

3 Designation
3.1 The designation of welding electrodes and rods is classified according to chemical composition and use occasion.
3.2 Designation preparation
"E" means applying to welding electrodes; "R" means applying to rods; "ER" means applying to welding electrodes as well as rods.
Numbers and English letters after "R" "ER" are designation series.
