1 Scope
1.1 This Part of NB/T 47013 specifies X ray and γ ray testing technology and quality classification requirements for metal fusion welded joints in pressure equipments.
1.2 The metals of metal fusion welded joint applicable in this Part include steel, copper and copper alloys, aluminum and aluminum alloy, titanium and titanium alloy, nickel and nickel alloy. The types of welded joint include plate and tube butt joint butt weld (hereinafter referred to as "butt weld"), inserted and placement connection tube fillet joint butt weld (hereinafter referred to as "tube socket fillet weld" and tube-tube plate fillet weld (with reference to Appendix A).
1.3 Radiographic testing for welded joint of other metallic materials, supporting members and structural members of pressure equipments may also refer to this Part.

W penetrated thickness The nominal thickness of materials in the direction of radiography exposure. In multilayer radiography, W penetrated thickness is the sum of nominal thickness of penetrated layers of materials.
3.2
b object-to-film distance
The distance between the surface at the source side of tested part of the object measured along the center of radiography beam and the film.
3.3
f Source-to-object distance
The distance between the source measured along radiography beam center and the surface at the source side of tested part of the object.
