1.0.1 This standard is formulated in order to keep the quality inspection and evaluation for acceptance of airfield area engineering of civil airports uniform in standard, advanced in technology, economic and reasonable.
1.0.2 This standard is applicable to the quality inspection and evaluation for acceptance of airfield area engineering of civil part in newly-built, renovated and extended civil airports (including civil and military airport). General aviation airport and heliport may also refer to the provisions of this standard.
1.0.3 The airfield area engineerings in this standard include such engineerings as runway, taxiway, linking taxiway, airport apron, runway shoulder, blast pad, earthwork (stonework), drainage, enclosure, patrol road and clearance treatment; air traffic control engineering and navigational visual aids within airfield area are not included.
1.0.4 The quality control and inspection requirements for construction process are not included in this standard.
1.0.5 Quality inspection and evaluation for acceptance of airfield area engineering of civil airports shall not only meet the standard but also meet the requirements specified in the current national and professional mandatory standard.
