1 Scope
This standard specifies selection of process parameters and technical requirements for vibration stress relief (VSR) as well as the evaluation methods for VSR effect.
This standard is applicable to the VSR treatment for melt welding structure of carbon structural steels, low alloy steel, stainless steel, copper and copper alloy, aluminium and aluminium alloy as well as titanium and titanium alloy.
