1 Scope
This standard specifies graduation and test method for thermal insulating properties of doors and windows.
This standard is applicable to graduation and test on thermal transmittance and condensation resistance factor of doors and windows (including skylight). It may be referred to for implementation for doors, windows and glasses of other types with thermal insulating requirements.
2 Normative References
The following standards contain provisions which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this standard. For dated reference, subsequent amendments to (excluding correction to), or revisions of, any of these publications do not apply. However, the parties to agreements based on this standard are encouraged to investigate the possibility of applying the most recent editions of the standards. For undated references, the latest edition of the normative document referred to applies.

3 Terms and Definitions
For the purpose of this standard, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1 Door and window thermal transmittance
Index representing thermal insulating properties of doors and windows. It refers to the capacity of thermal transmission per unit area under the condition of steady-state thermal transmission where air temperature difference between the two sides of exterior doors or windows 1K.
3.2 Thermal conductance
The ratio of thermal current density passing through standard plate with certain thickness to temperature difference between the two surfaces of the standard plate under the condition of steady-state thermal transmission.
3.3 Condensation resistance factor
Index for predicting the ability of doors and windows resisting condensation on the surface. It is the ratio of air temperature difference between the temperature at hot surface of doors and windows and outdoor temperature to air temperature difference between indoor and outdoor temperatures.
