Foundation bolts
1 Scope
This standard specifies the types and dimensions, specifications and reference standards, and designation of foundation bolts.
This standard applies to the foundation bolts with thread specifications from M8 to M72, performance grades 4.6 and 5.6, and product grade C.

3 Types and dimensions
3.1 Type A foundation bolts
The types of Type A foundation bolts are shown in Figure 1, and their dimensions are listed in Table 1.
The symbols and designations of dimensions shall comply with GB/T 5276.
The unthreaded shank diameter, ds, shall be approximately equal to the pitch diameter or major diameter of the thread.
a The ends shall be chamfered or rounded according to GB/T 2, at the discretion of the manufacturer.
b The length of incomplete thread shall be u≤2P.
