1 Scope
This standard specifies classification, symbols, ordering, dimensions, shape, weight, tolerances, specifications, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking and quality certificate of unalloyed steels for cold heading and cold extruding.
This standard is applicable to hot-rolled wire rods with nominal diameter from 5.0 mm to 60 mm and hot-rolled round steel bars with nominal diameter from 12 mm to 100 mm (hereinafter referred to as "steels").
