1 Scope
This standard specifies the prevailing torque type all-metal hexagon nuts, of style 1, with threads from M5 up to and including M36 and product grades A and B, in product grade A for threads up to and including 16mm and product grade B for threads above 16mm, and with property classes 5, 8 and 10.
Note: The dimensions of the nuts with the exception of kmax, correspond to those given in GB/T 6170.
If other specifications are required, they should be selected from existing standards, for example GB/T 196, GB/T 3098.9 and GB/T 3103.1.
