ISO Foreword
ISO (International Organization for Standardization) is a worldwide united organization of all national standard organizations (ISO member organizations) in the world. Formulation of international standards is handled by ISO technical committees. Every member organization may take part in a certain committee if it is interested in the project of such committee. Government or nongovernmental international organization that related to ISO also shall take part in this job. ISO has close relation with International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) in terms of electrotechnical standardization.
Drafting of international standard shall be carried out according to rules in part 3 of ISO/IEC guideline.
Draft international standard adopted by technical committee shall be given out to all member organizations for voting by ballot. Formal publication of international standard requires agreement of 75% members at least.
International standard ISO 4032 was formulated by ISO/TC 2 Technical Committee for Fastener.
The third edition is technical revision for carrying out deletion and supplement for the second edition (ISO 4032: 1999).
ISO Introduction
This international standard is a part of standards for "Exterior Hexagon Keys and Bits" ISO product series which contain:
a) Hexagonal head bolt (ISO 4014~4016 and ISO 8765) ;
b) Hexagon head screw (ISO 4017, ISO 4018 and ISO 8676) ;
c) Hexagon nuts (ISO 4032~4036 and ISO 8673~8675) ;
d) Hexagon flange bolt (ISO 4162 and ISO 15071) ;
e) Hexagon flange nut (ISO 4161 and ISO 10663) ;
f) Bolts and nuts for structural bolting (ISO 4775, ISO 7411~7414 and ISO 7417).
Hexagon Nuts, Style 1
1型六角螺母
1 Scope
This standard specifies hexagon nuts, style 1, whose thread specifications are M1.6~ M64, property class are class 6, 8, 10, A2-50, A2-70, A4-50, A4-70, CU2, CU3 and AL4, product grade are grades A and B. Those of grade A shall be used for nuts whose D≤16 mm; and grade B shall be used for nuts whose D>6 mm.
