1 General Provisions
1.0.1 To regulate the technical transformation of small hydropower plants, promote the technical progress of power stations, scientific use of hydro energy resources, eliminate safety hazards, ensure operational safety, improve production technology and energy efficiency, improve the ecological environment, the development of this standard.
1.0.2 This standard applies to the single station installed capacity of 500kW ~ 50000kw of small hydropower station technology transformation.
1.0.3 small hydropower station technology transformation should follow the safe and reliable, green, technically sound, economical and applicable principles, making full use of existing facilities or equipment in hydropower stations, and actively use mature new technologies, new processes, new equipment, new materials.

4 Performance tests
4.0.1 For hydro generator sets with a single capacity of 10000kW and above, performance comparison test shall be conducted before and after technical transformation.
4.0.2 The hydraulic turbine performance test shall be conducted according to the relevant provisions of the current national standard "Field Acceptance Test Procedure for Small Hydraulic Turbines" GB/T 22140 or "Field Acceptance Test Procedure for Hydraulic Performance of Hydraulic Turbine Storage Pump and Pump Hydraulic Turbine" GB/T 20043 according to specific conditions.

5 transformation content and requirements
5.1 General provisions
5.1.1 one of the following circumstances, should be technical transformation.
There are safety hazards.
Upstream and downstream hydrological characteristics of the parameters have changed significantly.
Unreasonable use of water and energy resources.
Civil construction, equipment manufacturing or installation quality is poor, equipment performance is backward, poor technical condition.
Geological conditions have changed.
No ecological flow release facilities.
Electrical and mechanical equipment in line with the scrapping conditions.
Other situations that require transformation.
6 technical performance indicators
6.0.1 small hydropower station after the technical transformation of the unit power and unit efficiency, should meet the following requirements.
Unit output power should meet the technical transformation design requirements.
Unit efficiency under rated operating conditions should not be lower than the provisions of Table 6.0.1, and based on the single-unit power from high to low value.
7 Project acceptance
