This standard is applicable to the field acceptance tests (associated object ) on the hydraulic performance of reaction/impulse turbines, storage pumps and pump-turbines. Before other relevant standards are issued, this standard applies to any size and type of the hydraulic machines above. However, as for small-sized hydraulic machines, some provisions in this standard may apply relaxedly as agreed between the purchaser and the supplier.
