This standard specifies method for determination of fluorine in foods like grain, vegetables, fruit, beans and their products, meat, fish and egg.
This standard is applicable to the determination of fluorine in foods. Fluoride ion-selective electrode method is not applicable to sample with high fat content while without ashing (like peanut, fat meat etc.).
Detection limit of this method: method I is 0.10mg/kg and method II is 1.25mg/kg.
