Ski area - Specification for safety protection of skiing slope
1 Scope
This document specifies the classification and grading of skiing slope, arrangement of skiing slopes, arrangement of safety protection facility, arrangement of safety guarantee facility and marking, and describes the verification method.
This document is applicable to the arrangement, management, and maintenance of skiing slopes for safety in ski parks open to the public.
This document is not applicable to mock skiing park and ski simulator.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.

skiing slope
specialized skiing area for skiing activities

3.2
alpine skiing slope
skiing slope with a certain height difference and relatively flat terrain, suitable for skiers to use skis, snowshoes, retainer and ski poles as their main equipment to do rotary skiing
3.3
freestyle skiing slope
skiing slope with certain shapes or obstacle props set up on flat slopes, suitable for skiers to freely skiing with double or single boards as the main equipment
Note: Freestyle skiing slopes include terrain park, mogul slope, half pipe, wave slope, etc.

Note: It may be equipped with diving tower, half pipe, artificial obstacle props, etc.
4 Classification and grading of skiing slopes
4.1 Skiing slopes are divided into alpine slopes, freestyle skiing slopes, and cross-country skiing slopes according to terrain.
4.2 Alpine skiing slopes are divided into primary skiing slopes, intermediate skiing slopes, and advanced skiing slopes according to the slopes. The grading of alpine skiing slopes shall meet those specified in Table 1.
