GB/T 4214 Test method for noise of household and similar electrical appliances is divided into nine parts:
——Part 1: General requirements;
—— Part 2: Particular requirements for vacuum cleaners;
—— Part 3: Particular requirements for dishwashers;
—— Part 4: Particular requirements for washing machines and spin extractors;
——Part 5: Particular requirements for electric shavers;
——Part 6: Particular requirements for electric hair care appliances;
——Part 7: Particular requirements for washing machines and spin extractors;
——Part 8: Particular requirements for electric cooking ranges, ovens, grills, microwave ovens and any combination of these;
——Part 9: Particular requirements for fans.
This is part 9 of GB/T 4214.
This part shall be used in combination with GB/T 4214.1-2017. The clauses state "applicable", that means corresponding clauses of GB/T 4214.1-2017 are applicable to this part; when the clauses state "replacement" give priority to the clauses in this part; when the clauses state "addition", that means not only the corresponding clauses in GB/T 4214.1-2017, but also added clauses of this part shall be complied.
This part is developed in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This part is modified in relation to IEC 60704-2-7:2020 Household and similar electrical appliances - Test code for the determination of airborne acoustical noise - Part 2-7: Particular requirements for fans.
The technical deviations between this part and IEC 60704-2-7:2020 and their reasons are as follows:
——Floor fans are added to the scope according to the situation of China's fan industry (1.1.1 of Clause 1);
——The terms and definitions of 3.115 floor fans are added according to the situation of China's fan industry (Clause 3);
——The definitions of comfort fans in IEC 60879:2019 are used many times in 3.101-3.109, so the terms and definitions of 3.116 comfort fans are added for ease of use and understanding (Clause 3);
——The test height of adjustable table fans, floor fans and pedestal fans are described in detail, and the cases that can swing automatically are listed. Reason: clarify the test height of the adjustable height table fans, floor fan s and pedestal fans, and the condition of automatic swing (see 6.4.1);
——Ceiling bracket fans are added, because the installation of the ceiling bracket fans and ceiling fans are the same (6.5.1);
——The installation modes of wall bracket fans are added to clarify the installation modes of wall bracket fans (6.5.4);
——7.1.1 The application range of the measuring surface is increased by the floor fans. Reason: The above types of fans are added to the scope in Clause 1 (7.1.1);
——7.1.6 The high pedestal fans applicable to the measurement surface is explained. It is applicable to the high pedestal fans whose geometric center of the reference body is more than 1 m above the ground and which cannot be adjusted. Reason: clarify the range of the high pedestal fans (7.1.6).

1 Scope and object
This clause of GB/T 4214.1-2017 is applicable except as follows.
1.1 Scope
1.1.1 General
Replacement:
This part of GB/T 4214 applies to electrical fans (including their accessories and their component parts) for household and similar use, designed for AC or DC supply.
The motor, the impeller and their housing, if any, form a single unit.
This part is applicable to:
——conventional fans;
——table fans;
——pedestal fan;
——ceiling fan;
——bladeless fans;
——wall bracket fans;
——ceiling bracket fans;
——louver fans;
——tower fans;
——ventilating and partition ventilating fans;
——floor fans.
This part does not apply to:
——fans that are part of a ventilation system;
——fans designed exclusively for industrial purposes;
——fans that are part of an appliance (for example cooling fans);
——fans with additional functions (for example heating, humidifying).
Limitations for the use of this test code are given in Clause 1 of GB/T 4214.1-2017.
1.1.2 Type of noise
Replacement:
The methods specified in GB/T 6881.2- 2017, GB/T 6881.3-2002 and GB/T 3767-2016 can be used for measuring noise emitted by fans.
1.1.3 Size of Source
Replacement:
The method specified in GB/T 3767-2016 is applicable to noise Sources of any size. When applying GB/T 6881.2-2017 and GB/T 6881.3-2002, care should be taken to ensure that the maximum size of the appliance under test fulfils the requirements specified in 1.2 of GB/T 6881.2-2017 and 1.3 of GB/T 6881.3-2002.
1.2 Object
Addition:
This part describes the determination of the noise emission of household fans in normal operation at maximum speed. Other speeds can, in addition, be used. Requirements for the declaration of noise emission values are not within the scope of this part.
The aim of this part is to give direction for measuring the noise in a room resulting from the operation of a fan.
Note 101: For determining and verifying noise emission values declared in product specifications, see IEC 60704-3.

If pure tone components are present in the noise emitted by the Source, the estimated standard deviation of the measured sound pressure levels in the special reverberation room may increase. In such cases, additional microphone positions or Source positions may be necessary, such as those specified in GB/T 6881.3-2002.
4.3 Comparison method
Addition:
If pure tone components are present in the noise emitted by the Source, the estimated standard deviation of the measured sound pressure levels in the hard-walled test room or in the special reverberation room may increase. In such cases, additional microphone positions or Source positions may be necessary, such as those specified in GB/T 6881.2-2017 or GB/T 6881.3-2002.

GB/T 4214《家用和类似用途电器噪声测试方法》分为9部分:
——第1部分:通用要求;
——第2部分:真空吸尘器的特殊要求;
——第3部分:洗碗机的特殊要求;
——第4部分:洗衣机和离心式脱水机的特殊要求;
——第5部分:电动剃须刀的特殊要求;
——第6部分:毛发护理器具的特殊要求;

——第8部分:电灶、烤箱、烤架、微波炉及其组合器具的特殊要求;
——第9部分:风扇的特殊要求。
本部分为GB/T 4214的第9部分。
本部分与GB/T 4214.1—2017配合使用。本部分中写明“适用”的部分,表示GB/T 4214.1—2017中的相应条文适用于本部分;本部分写明“代替”的部分,则以本部分中的条文为准;本部分写明“增加”的部分,表示除要符合GB/T 4214.1—2017中的相应条文外,还需符合本部分条文中所增加的条文。
本部分按照GB/T1.1—2009给出的规则起草。
本部分使用重新起草法修改采用IEC60704-2-7:2020《家用和类似用途电器 测定空气传播噪声的试验规范 第2-7部分:风扇的特殊要求》。
本部分与IEC 60704-2-7:2020的技术性差异及原因如下:
——结合我国风扇产品行业情况,范围中增加了台地扇(第1章1.1.1);
——结合我国风扇产品行业情况,增加了3.115台地扇术语和定义(第3章);
——定义3.101~3.109中多次用到IEC 60879:2019中舒适风扇的定义,所以增加了3.116舒适风扇的术语和定义,以便使用和理解(第3章);
——对可调节高度的台扇、台地扇和落地扇的测试高度进行了详细的说明,列举了可自动摆动的情况。原因:明确可调节高度的台扇、台地扇和落地扇的测试高度、可自动摆动的情况(见6.4.1);
——增加了顶扇,因顶扇和吊扇的安装方式相同(6.5.1);
——增加了壁扇的安装方式,以明确壁扇的安装方式(6.5.4);
——7.1.1该测量表面适用范围增加了台地扇。原因:第1章范围中增加了上述类型的风扇(7.1.1);

1 范围和测定量
GB/T 4214.1—2017中的该章除以下内容外,均适用。
1.1 范围
1.1.1 概述

GB/T 4214的本部分适用于家用和类似用途的、使用交流或直流供电的电风扇(以下简称风扇)及其附件和零部件。
电机、叶轮和外壳(如果有的话)构成一套独立的装置。
本部分适用于:

——无叶风扇;
——壁扇;

4 测量方法与声学环境

4.2 直接法
增加:
如果声源发出的噪声中存在纯音成分,在专用混响室中测得的声压级标准偏差的估计值可能会增大。该情况下,根据GB/T 6881.3—2002的规定,可能有必要增加额外的传声器的位置或声源的位置。
4.3 比较法
增加:
如果声源发出的噪声中存在纯音成分,在刚性壁面测试室中或专用混响室中测得的声压级标准偏差的估计值可能会增大。该情况下,根据GB/T 6881.2—2017或GB/T 6881.3—2002的规定,可能有必要增加额外的传声器的位置或声源的位置。
5 测量仪器
GB/T 4214.1—2017中的该章除下述内容外,均适用。

应使用防风罩,而且应在观测的声压级上增加传声器灵敏度变化的校正值。
6 被测器具的运行与定位
GB/T 4214.1—2017中的该章除下述内容外,均适用。
6.2 电、水或燃气的供应

6.4 测试期间器具的加载与运行
6.4.1 代替:
加载和运行应模拟正常使用情况。正常使用中可以倾斜的风扇应选择能发射最高噪声值的位置进行测试,测试应至少持续10 s。
对于可调节高度的台扇、台地扇和落地扇,将器具电机轴中心调至距离地面高度为1.5 m,如果器具最大高度小于1.5 m,则在最大高度状态下进行测试。
可自动摆动(摇头、摆叶、导叶风轮转动等)的风扇应在自动摆动状态下运行。对于这种摆动的器具,A计权声压级应为至少一个完整运行周期的平均值。
6.4.3 不适用。
6.5 器具的定位和安装
6.5.1 增加:
吊扇和顶扇可悬挂在一个特殊支架上而不是天花板上。在这种情况下,应注意悬挂或夹紧的方式不会改变器具噪声的输出。为了不对气流产生限制,器具边缘的最低处与反射面(通常是地面)的最小距离应至少为1.5 m。
或者,在保证不影响噪声辐射的条件下,可以将吊扇或顶扇以反向工作的状态安装在反射平面上。
6.5.2 不适用。
6.5.3 不适用。
6.5.4 代替:
隔墙换气扇应安装在下列位置之一的开口处,壁扇应安装在下列位置之一:
——专用混响室的墙上;或
——反射面上方自由场环境中的第二反射面上。
器具中心距离地面的高度应为1.5 m±0.05 m。
在任何情况下,都应遵守制造商说明书的规定,并避免产生结构噪声。
应避免对气流的限制。
为避免给风扇造成不必要的负荷,应注意消除相关房间(或大气)之间的气压差。
6.5.5 不适用。
6.5.7 不适用。
7 声压级的测量
GB/T 4214.1—2017中的该章除下述内容外,均适用。
7.1 反射面.上方的近似自由场中的传声器的布置、测量表面以及标准声源(RSS)的位置
7.1.1 增加:
该测量表面适用于台扇、台地扇、落地扇、转页扇、柱式扇、无叶风扇、顶扇和吊扇。台扇、台地扇、落地扇、转页扇、柱式扇和无叶风扇应放置在地面上。
该测量表面不能用于隔墙换气扇和壁扇。
应使用防风罩。
7.1.2 不适用。
