RF technical requirements and test methods for 76GHz vehicle radio equipment
1 Scope
This standard specifies the RF technical requirements and test methods for equivalent isotropic radiated power, spurious emission of transmitter, spurious emission and out-of-band emission of receiver and the like of vehicle radio equipment working in the frequency band of 76GHz.
It is applicable to vehicle radio equipment working in the frequency range of 76GHz~77GHz.

3 Terms, definitions and abbreviations
3.1 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1.1
equivalent isotropic radiated power; EIRP
product of the power input to antenna and the antenna gain relative to isotropic antenna along the assigned direction

spectral power density
average equivalent isotropic radiated power within the unit bandwidth
3.1.3
duty cycle
ratio of the duration of a positive pulse to the total period of the pulse in a series of pulses

spurious emission
unwanted emission of the equipment in spurious domain

For the purposes of this document, the following abbreviations apply.

4 Technical requirements
4.1 Environmental requirements
The equipment manufacturer shall declare the operating environmental conditions of the equipment in advance, and the equipment shall operate in its nominal operating environment.
4.2 RF technical requirements
4.2.1 Peak equivalent isotropic radiated power
4.2.1.1 General
The product of the peak power input to antenna and the antenna gain relative to isotropic antenna along the assigned direction.
4.2.1.2 Limit
The limit of peak equivalent isotropic radiated power is 55dBm when the transmitter operates at the maximum power level.
4.2.2 Frequency range
The limit of applied frequency range is 76GHz to 77GHz when the transmitter operates at the maximum power level.
4.2.3 Out-of-band emission
4.2.3.1 General
In this standard, out-of-band emission refers specifically to the maximum spectral power density of the transmitter in the frequency ranges of 73.5GHz to 76GHz and 77GHz~79.5GHz.
4.2.3.2 Limit
The out-of-band emission limit is 0dBm/MHz.
4.2.4 Spurious emission of transmitter
4.2.4.1 General
Spurious emission of transmitter is the unwanted emission of the equipment in spurious domain when the equipment is in emission state.
4.2.4.2 Limit
See Table 1 for spurious emission limit of transmitter.

5 Test method
5.1 Environmental conditions needed for test
Equipment under test shall operate under its normal operating environment.
a) temperature: 15℃~35℃;
b) relative humidity: 20%~75%.
5.2 Test results and their uncertainty
The complete expression of test results shall consist of the following parts:
a) measured values and corresponding limits;
b) measurement uncertainty.
The measurement uncertainty shall not be greater than the value in Table 3.
