Titanium and titanium alloy wire
1 Scope
This document specifies the classification and labeling, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage, as well as accompanying documents and order contents of titanium and titanium alloy wires (hereinafter referred to as "wires”).
This document is applicable to the round wires used for manufacturing structural members and those used as electrode materials and welding materials.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 6611 and GB/T 38982 apply.
4 Classification and labeling
4.1 Product classification
4.1.1 The products are classified into two categories by purpose:
——structural wires, which are mainly used as structural members;
——welding wires, which are mainly used as electrode material and welding material.
4.1.2 The designation, state and specification of products shall meet those specified in Table 1.
