PEMFC backup power system to which this standard is applicable shall constitute a complete system. The system shall be composed of some or all of the following components to achieve the set function:
——Fuel storage and supply system: a system for storing fuel used by PEMFC backup power system and providing fuel for PEMFC backup power system;
——Air supply system: a system for metering, regulating, treating and pressurizing air required by PEMFC backup power system;
——Heat management system: a system that provides cooling, heat dissipation and/or heating functions to maintain the heat balance in the PEMFC backup power system;
——Water treatment system: a system that treats the recovered or added water for use in the PEMFC backup power system;
——Electric output regulating system: a system that controls or converts the generated electric energy and is able to meet the electricity demand within the manufacturer's design range;
——Automatic control system: a system that consists of sensors, actuators, valves, switches, logic elements and control panel and is used to maintain the parameters of PEMFC backup power system within the range set by the manufacturer without the need of manual intervention;
——Ventilation system: a system that exchanges air inside and outside the cabinet of the PEMFC backup power system by virtue of a forced or natural ventilation method;
