5 Introduction to conformance testing
5.1 General
A complete system designed according to the specific needs of users needs to go through many steps from equipment development, production to normal operation. Proper testing is required during this process.
There are many internal tests in the development stage of equipment (or system supporting components), and finally type tests (unit level tests) are conducted. The type test shall be conducted by the supplier. If there is a feasible standard, it is required to be conducted by an independent testing agency. The type test in this document is only limited to equipment function test except communication.
Continuous routine tests in the production chain are necessary to ensure the quality stability of products provided by producers,
Consistency test is a type test of communication. Since communication establishes a system, it is a basic integrated system of combined system components. As a global communication standard, IEC61400-25 (all parts) includes standard conformance testing, which can ensure that all suppliers comply with feasible requirements.
Type test and conformance test cannot fully ensure that all requirements for function and performance are met. However, proper type testing and conformance testing can significantly reduce the risk of costly problems when integrating systems in the factory and in the field.
The conformance test cannot replace the project specific system test, such as FAT and SAT, which are based on the user's requirements for the specific wind farm system and are usually conducted by the system integrator and the user's witness. These tests increase the reliability of all potential problems found and solved in the system. These tests confirm that the delivered wind farm system complies with the specifications.
5.2 Conformance test procedure
In general, the consistency test of the communication performance of system components should meet the functional and performance requirements of typical applications supported by these devices in the Chengfeng Farming System.
5.3 Quality assurance and testing
5.3.1 Overview
To ensure the quality of conformance testing, the testing agency shall establish a quality assurance system that is clearly proven and applied to sub suppliers. In all stages of conformance testing, the status of each component is generally monitored and inspected according to quality supervision. For this purpose, the inspection shall be carried out according to the control points and witness points determined by the initiator or representative during the test, as well as the inspection plan proposed by the testing agency. These inspections are process related and can provide information and reliability of test quality. Quality supervision will reduce the risk of factory acceptance and site acceptance failure.
5.3.2 Quality plan
5.3.2.1 Conformity test quality plan
For evaluation, the testing agency shall provide a quality plan for conformance testing.
The plan shall describe the scope of work and/or all measures for delivery in terms of organization, time, information and quality. There is only one quality plan for the testing agency and its subcontractors.
The conformance test quality plan shall include the following contents.
——A complete and detailed description of the work method, which will ensure that all inspection work meets all appropriate requirements and conditions described in the scope of work within the allowable time.
——A detailed description of all tasks to be completed, including the referenced schedule and an overview of staff, materials, working methods and relevant methods and steps.
——A detailed description of the organization, including assignments, tasks, and responsibilities of personnel involved in different stages of the test project. The description shall include all tests, inspections, studies, reviews and dates that occur during different test phases. These descriptions are part of the test and inspection plan.
——The method of handling deviations, changes and modifications at all stages of the test.
——A description of the signing procedure and the documents provided.
5.3.2.2 Test and inspection plan
6 Consistency test of relevant equipment
6.1 Test method
The communication test requires at least two devices to communicate with each other. Comprehensive interoperability testing of all products is not feasible. Therefore, the test concept should include test equipment, test configuration and test scenarios.
Dynamic performance should be tested using properly defined test cases.
It shall be specially pointed out that communication equipment such as star coupler, switch, etc. shall support all characteristics required by IEC 61400-25 (all parts), but shall not cause accidents or restrictions. Due consideration shall be given to the impact of the communication methods (client server, FTP/IP, etc.) used by the equipment under test during the test. Even if advanced tools can be used for such analysis, the verification of functional applications does not fall within the scope of conformance testing.
6.2 Conformance test procedure
6.2.1 General
7 Performance test
7.1 General
IEC 61400-25 (all parts) does not specify any specific performance requirements for application operations operating in the IEC 61400-25 (all parts) environment, but defines a series of basic indicators. Based on this fact, Chapter defines the basic indicators determined in the equipment, so that the documented product declarations supporting these requirements can be compared across suppliers.
7.2 Introduction to communication delay transmission time test
The communication transmission time requirement is determined as the basic performance index. The transmission time is the time required to transfer the process value from the sending physical device to the process logic of the receiving device. The transmission time is defined by three intervals:
7.3 Time synchronization and accuracy
7.3.1 Introduction to time synchronization test
The purpose of this test is to verify the ability of the WPP device to convey timestamp information about the reviewed events. The accurate time stamp depends on several independent functions, including accurate decoding of the clock of the receiving signal device and accurate synchronization of the received signal, timely detection of device status changes, and accurate use of time stamp data by the device clock value
WPP devices that require very high time accuracy can use a directly connected external time source (radio or satellite clock). When no direct external time source is available for WPP, time synchronization is used to synchronize the device clock value. During synchronization on the WPP system network, a device with an accurate time source acts as a time master. A second device of the same type can be defined as a standby time master device. The time source of the time master device is usually provided by an external source.
The time accuracy measurement defined in this article refers to the timestamp accuracy measurement of WPP when the external source is provided or the device depends on the time synchronization mechanism of the time master.
