This document is developed in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2020 Directives for standardization - Part 1: Rules for the structure and drafting of standardizing documents.
This document replaces GB/T 30307-2013 Household and similar drinking water treatment equipment. In addition to structural adjustments and editorial, the following main technical changes have been made with respect GB/T 30307-2013:
——The scope of this standard is altered (see Clause 1 hereof; Clause 1 of Edition 2013);
——Alterations are made to terms and definitions "drinking water treatment equipment", "influent pressure", "purified water flow rate" and "efficiency of rejection", other terms in the previous standard are deleted, and the following terms and definitions are added: "pure water treatment units", "mineralization drinking water treatment units", "general water treatment units", "reverse osmosis drinking water treatment units", "nanofiltration drinking water treatment units", "electrodialysis drinking water treatment units", "ultrafiltration drinking water treatment units", "activated carbon drinking water treatment units", "water softener", "rated total production capacity", "cumulative water production", “core filter”, “selective performance”, “whole course addition”, “purification efficiency”, “purified water production rate”, “cumulative purified water production rate”, "retaining rate", “rated cycle water production quantity”, “rate of regeneration”, “traceability system”, and “large drinking water treatment units” (see Clause 3 hereof; Clause 3of Edition 2013);

1 Scope
This document specifies the classification and designation, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of household and similar drinking water treatment units (hereinafter referred to as "drinking water treatment units").
This document applies to drinking water treatment units for household and similar uses.
This document may serve as a reference for other products with water treatment function.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1
drinking water treatment units
system to improve water quality, consisting of one or several drinking water treatment filters, and using municipal tap water or other centralized water supply as raw water

pure water treatment units
drinking water treatment units (3.1) using reverse osmosis, nanofiltration, electrodialysis, distillation and other technologies to remove microorganisms, organic matters, heavy metal ions, etc., so as to obtain pure water for drinking

mineralization drinking water treatment units
drinking water treatment units (3.1), which use municipal tap water or other centralized water supply as raw water for further treatment, with a view to improving the quality of drinking water and increasing some beneficial components in the water

4 Classification and designation
4.1 Classification
Drinking water treatment units can be divided into: pure water treatment units (CJC), general water treatment units (YBC), and mineralization drinking water treatment units (KC), as detailed in Table 1.
Pure water treatment units include reverse osmosis drinking water treatment units, nanofiltration drinking water treatment units, and electrodialysis drinking water treatment units.
General water treatment units include ultrafiltration drinking water treatment units, activated carbon drinking water treatment units, and water softeners.
Mineralization drinking water treatment units include mineralizers and the like.
