Teabag
1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking and labeling, packaging, transportation and storage for teabags.
This standard is applicable to tea bags produced from tea leaves including scented tea and packed with filter materials.
This standard is not applicable to teabags with other plant ingredients and edible flavors and fragrances.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.

teabag
packaged tea by green tea, black tea, oolong tea, white tea, yellow tea, dark tea made from the bud, leaf and tender stem of Camellia sinensis (L.)O.Kuntze and scented tea made from the above raw materials through various scenting of flowers which is processed by specific specification and packaged with filtering materials
4 Product categories
According to different tea raw materials, teabags are mainly divided into green teabag, black teabag, oolong teabag, yellow teabag, white teabag, dark teabag and scented teabag.
