This standard specifies technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packing, transport and storage with regards to the traction machine of electric lifts with rated speed not greater than 8.0m/s.
This national standard is applicable to traction machines designed for passenger lift and freight lift.
This standard is not applicable to traction machines designed for dumbwaiter lift and home lift.
