1 Scope
This part specifies the qualification requirements for welding by adoption of a standard welding procedure.
This part is applicable to the welding of steel, aluminum and aluminum alloy, copper and copper alloy as well as nickel and nickel alloy. However, specific application scope may be determined according to relevant standard or specification for actual application.
2 Normative References
The following normative documents contain provisions which, through reference in this Part of GB/T 19868, constitute provisions of this Part. For dated reference, subsequent amendments (excluding corrigendum content) to, or revisions of, any of these publications do not apply. However, all parties coming to an agreement according to this Part are encouraged to study whether the latest editions of these documents are applicable. For undated references, the latest edition of the normative document referred to applies.
