1 Scope
This part specifies the main types, basic parameters and dimensions, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, inspection and test items as well as marking, packaging and transport requirements of asynchronous generator of grid-connected wind turbine generator systems (with speed-increasing gearbox).
This part is applicable to grid-connected single-speed or double-speed asynchronous generator (with speed-increasing gearbox; hereinafter referred to as generator); for generators of other types, it may apply for reference.

3 Type, Basic Parameter and Dimension
3.1 Generator shell protection grade shall not be inferior to IP44 specified in GB/T 4942.1.
3.2 There shall be reliable cooling mode for generators; if the ventilation cooling mode is adopted, it shall be ensured that the introduced air do not cause harm to the generator; if water cooling mode is adopted, there shall be no water seepage or leakage.
3.3 Structure and mounting mode of generator shall meet the requirements of IMB3 specified in GB/T 997.
3.4 Rating of the generators is continuous duty system (S1)-based continuous rating.
3.5 Single-speed generators are generally manufactured according to the following rated power (kW): 150, 200, 250, 300, 400, 500, 600, 660, 750, 1,000, 1,320 or 1,500.
3.6 As for the single-speed generator, the rated frequency is 50Hz, the synchronous speed is 1,500 r/min, the rated voltage (V) is 400, 690, 1,000 or 1,500 (the user may negotiate with the manufacturer if having special requirements).
3.7 Double-speed generators shall be manufactured according to the following rated power (kW): 600/1251), 660/180 or 750/220 (the user may negotiate with the manufacturer if having special requirements).
